![]() Managers don’t really care about you if you aren’t hitting numbers. Clients say they will buy and then disappear never to be heard from again. You are expected to say yes to any and every equifit you’re offered even if your floor hours are 5-8am and the offer is for 6pm. Memberships are expensive as is training. You are given floor hours (yes, even as tier 3+ if you test into it you will have to do floor hours until sessions pile up). I am leaning toward equinox because their continuing education appears to be robust and the pay scale/tier system is publicly announced and clearly outlined. How much money do Equinox trainers make per session at each Tier? How does this compare to what Crunch trainers would make per session with my qualifications? Where would I make more money considering bonuses and commission and stuff? Which offer should I accept? and I was told by the hiring manager that once I get that, I could test into Tier 3+ and make more money. I have also purchased the Precision Nutrition Level 1 certification. I also got an offer to be a personal training counselor (PTC) at LA Fitness in Long Beach, but I turned it down because it was too far from where I wanted to live and I preferred Equinox because I believe they have better continuing education.Īt equinox, I would start at Tier 2 because I have a kinesiology degree and a CSCS. I got an offer at both Equinox (Sports Club LA) and Crunch Fitness (West Hollywood) in Los Angeles to be a trainer. ![]()
